FIT Sport Performance

FIT Athlete Program

Our Sport Performance Division fosters a collaborative approach. Where a Strength Coach and Physiotherapist are working together to support players, coaches, and teams. With injury prevention at the forefront of their FIT approach, Coach Josie and Coach Marcus have developed a resource that has both in-person and online programs.

Program Details

  • Coach Josie and Coach Marcus work with teams and sport clubs to ensure the outlined training plan is strategically designed. They work together with the club and sport coaches, ensuring the program they create considers sport specific details, team requirements, and individual player needs.

Customizing according to season goals, weekly changes, and off season focuses.

  • Each team will work with a FIT Coach on weekly team training sessions. These weekly sessions will have teams working on sport specific aspects such as strength, balance, agility, power, and speed.

FIT Coaches are trained to work with individual players, supporting them with improving key aspects of injury prevention such as awareness of body mechanics and how to apply them to in-play situations.

  • A necessary component of athletes’ participation in sport. It requires sport specific focuses such as improving player movement mechanics, muscular imbalances, stability of joints, and player education.

Concept Fits Sport Performance course ensures both in person and online supports have this important FIT pillar.

  • Players and Parents have online access to their team’s customized platform. Here, they can access at home physio guided prehab sessions, educational content on player nutrition and injury prevention, as well as any team specific supports needed for that season.

Coaches have access to tools such as sport specific warm-ups, player tracking performance results, and any other customized team supports.

  • Concept Fit leads all pre-season evaluations to support player assessments, guide team tryouts, and uphold a strong standard of competitiveness within the club

  • A specific plan laid out, so teams and players are safely and effectively challenged. Increasing their overall performance while prioritizing injury prevention at the same time.

  • Together Coach Josie and Coach Marcus are here to support players, coaches and parents any way they can. They value open communication and collaboration, ensuring all the right FIT supports are in place to allow players to succeed both on and off the field.
